PRAGMATICS A. DEFINITION OF PRAGMATICS & ACCORDING TO EXPERTS Pragmatics dates back to philosophical thinking of the early 19th century and was introduced by the American philosopher Charles W. Morris (1901-1979) as one of the three components of semiotics, the science of signs. Specifically, Morris defined pragmatics as “the study of the relation of signs to interpreters” (1938, p. 6). In modern linguistics, pragmatics is broadly defined as the study of language use in context. See definitions below. Pragmatics can be analyzed from two perspectives, the Cognitive-Philosophical view (or Anglo-American pragmatics) and the Sociocultural-Interactional view (or European-Continental pragmatics) (Haugh, 2008; Huang, 2007). My hobby is mountain climbing ,, yahhhh even though i've never climbed a mountain. but I like it. I have a many brothers is 9 brothers and I last child. My family live a very simple, and I lives with my parents, the all my brothers is married and already has houses. I like a change ,, yahh change is better than before. "ENGLISH EDUCATION" what is English Language Education ? the english language education program will study english studies, ranging from aspects of listening, reading, writing and speaking. but it is quite different from the english literature study program which focuses on studying linguistic and literary aspects in english, in our english education study program we will also get teacher training and education. suraly english language education study program students ar prepared to become instructors or english language teacher at  the elementary, middle and high school levels.
